MARC ANTHONY’S MOTHER DIES 

Marc Anthony’s mother, Guillermina Muñiz, has passed away.

The 48-year-old singer announced the news via social media on Thursday.

“Today at 12:10 p.m. my family’s hero, our rock, our protector, inspiration and now ANGEL passed away,” he tweeted in a statement, “She left in peace, accompanied by all your prayers and well wishes for which we thank you all.”

He ended the sad note, “Mami, I’m going to miss you so much.”

Although her cause of death is unclear, on Sunday he tweeted to his followers, “Please pray for my mom today. I love you mommy.”
