A South Florida top cop is light on information.
"We're not going to comment about that."
But heavy on frustration regarding the recent murder of a 16-month old boy in West Palm Beach.
"I think it's a shame. I think that this community needs to take ownership and say 'it's time for a change here. There's too many shootings in this neighborhood and we need to stop it.'"
Police Chief Frank Adderley announced Wednesday that the reward has gone up to $40,000 for information leading to the arrest of a suspect.
He says people watched as Kaleb Watson was shot while sitting in a car with his parents April 7th, but nobody has come forward as a witness.
The chief expressed frustration that no witnesses are coming forward to provide the name of the suspect.
"Should we be the only one upset about this? I think the people that lay their heads on the pillow at night in this neighborhood should be upset as well."
The shooting happened in the area of 4th Street and Douglass Avenue, near the downtown area.
In addition to the police department, the FBI, the ATF and the West Palm Beach Police Fund are each throwing in $10,000 towards the total reward.
Anyone with information is asked to call West Palm Beach Police at 561-822-1900.
